<p>Âé¶ą´«Ă˝ will soon make it easier for students to find resources for basic needs like food, housing and access around campus.</p>
<p>Three vacant spaces in the Memorial Union’s east wing will be filled by the Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center, a new service to point students toward resources to help fulfill basic needs like food, housing and financial wellness; and Student Disability Center and ASUCD Pantry satellite locations. Openings are scheduled for later this spring, with grand opening events forthcoming. <p>One of the reasons why I decided to choose Âé¶ą´«Ă˝ was the famous underground bowling alley. I would always hear alumni and people talk about it. I had been in tours around campus during my high school years, but never had the chance to check out the bowling alley. Last year when I got accepted into Âé¶ą´«Ă˝, I was so excited to finally check it out and go bowling with my friends. <p><a href="http://www.ucdavisaggies.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/041817aae.html">First the Sacramento River Cats</a> and then the Sacramento Kings honored our men’s and women’s basketball teams for their terrific seasons, and then, April 24, came official recognition — in the form of resolutions —from both houses of the state Legislature.</p>

<p>After two years of construction, Âé¶ą´«Ă˝â€™ signature lounge is ready to reopen this coming Monday (May 1).</p>
<p>Furniture is going in and crews are putting the finishing touches on the $23.5 million renovation project, which was delayed by surprises like <a href="/news/memorial-union-emptied-construction-continues">features that didn’t match schematics</a>.</p>

<p>As the finishing touches are being put on <a href="/news/memorial-union-renewal">the Memorial Union renovation</a>, plans are forming for the future of its northern courtyard and Freeborn Hall.</p>
<p>The MU’s nearly two-year renovation will be complete in the spring, and the building will officially reopen April 3.</p>
