<p>Clement Stokes is the campusās new director of emergency management and mission continuity. He previously served as director of emergency management at Northwestern University for seven years.</p>

<p>Volunteers are being sought to help with a campus harvest that will benefit the Yolo Food Bank. The harvest is scheduled from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday (Jan. 29) in a student-planted, educational-use field just west of the Student Farm.</p>

<p>To weather the big rains and high winds of what is anticipated to be a strong El NiƱo, Āé¶¹“«Ć½ is preparing ā from removing dead tree branches to clearing sediment from drainpipes.</p>
<p>And the campus needs your help, too.</p>
