The Â鶹´«Ã½ Fire Department responded to an apartment fire in the Solano housing area about 11:30 p.m. Saturday (May 8). One person was rescued by firefighters and transported to Â鶹´«Ã½ Medical Center. The fire was brought under control within a few minutes of the rescue being completed.  

Other residents of the apartment block are being temporarily rehoused. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Â鶹´«Ã½ fire marshal and the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
